@FootballCliches@CDEccleshare@D_C_W At 3-1 in the Old Firm match, Chris Sutton said that Celtic had put Rangers to the sword in the second half. What defines 'putting a team to the sword'? A minimum 2 goal lead?
@SirNotTomFarmer@MChambers93@FootballCliches Yes. This is the worst and adds nothing to the tv viewing experience. I want to find out the added time when everyone in the stadium finds out.
@mark_hazell@FootballCliches Yes! The bass player with an indie band which you are vaguely aware of is THE quintessential predictions foe. (Or maybe bassist and drummer together).
@FootballCliches@CDEccleshare@D_C_W You can tell how far you guys get in the ladder by how long is left in the episode! Maybe stick it in the middle somewhere ๐
@FootballCliches Going back to Monday afternoon here - when Slovakia scored against Belgium, the commentator on 5Live said it was another goal in this 'topsy-turvy group E'. 5 minutes into the second match is too soon to label a group as 'topsy-turvy', isn't it?
