So, @Scobleizer and I had this interesting conversation in @Tesla which drove itself from Mission bay SF to San Mateo. Full FSD is magic

- he shared how he met @elonmusk and drove first roadster with him. @Jason made this happen. also shared many interesting Elon stories.

- shared conversations with @finkd and why Mark Zuckerberg was so right about metaverse,AR/VR

- shared why Tesla >> Waymo and where waymo went wrong

- talked about what kind of startups one should build : robotics, BCI, self driving and more

- interesting history of Silicon Valley, Cupertino and more

Enjoy!

Something HUGE is coming, the likes of which we have never seen before.

The world of SI/AI changes today.
👀

[Dax Maridian @DaxMaridian]

@mark_k Mark, you are all over it brother! Thank you!

@ReaperCodex @elonmusk the trade-off between what I now pay in electricity to what I used to pay in gas is day and night — it’s been a great investment.

@robinebers 😳

Tommy Shaughnessy says an unnamed Anthropic researcher told him over dinner: “I’m just enjoying my last six months.” Speaking with Michael Arrington, he said the researcher was serious and claimed most Anthropic employees share that outlook.

The problem, of course, is that it's unclear what this means. I'm guessing they mean that *scientific work* will be completely taken over by feedback loops, and we'll disappear into RSI.

I'm not reading this as a doomsday post, but rather as a positive outlook that AI supports and transforms all areas.

@BannedBWV @9_MightyMouse_9 @middleman1980s @Trader_sarcasm She’s not just a female — she’s a Lib in NY (probably hates men too, especially white males) and probably marched for #MeToo

[Dax Maridian @DaxMaridian]

@robinebers I always value your perspective Rob and I agree that we are seeing a lot more AI-generated content. It's gotten so bad that anytime I see a post thats 10 + paragraphs long, I'll skip it.

@PaulGugAI @mark_k China has a long history of stealing intellectual property from America

[Elon Musk @elonmusk]

Major threshold passed. Almost all cars will be electric in the future.

[Dax Maridian @DaxMaridian]

@CP11 @elonmusk @MdeZegher You’re gonna love it Chris!

[Dax Maridian @DaxMaridian]

@ReaperCodex @elonmusk I charge mine at home. No diesel necessary.
