#VO tip: sometimes when recording ADR, you may be asked if you want to record “to picture” or “scratch and match”. The 1st way, you record your line while watching lip flap using the picture as your guide. The 2nd way, you hear the temp track, then repeat it, matching it exactly.

#VO tip: Beware of the over-prepare. Yes, you want to prepare your lines for a record, but not so much that you aren’t able to shift gears if you are directed differently. Maybe prepare a couple options for each line (an A,B,C) so you aren’t locked in to one performance.
