On May 18 humanity stops to feel and absorb all the care of the world. Each one of us on this planet cares for someone, or about something, in some way. Awaken on this day and feel what and who is important to you, and move toward that, like it is your only day remaining to do so
Without questioning how or if it could happen, if the idea of humanity coming together over a shared (in)action speaks to your heart, please donate. ANY amount helps. https://t.co/rT7C2uG5tX
There is one thing that we humans can do, all together, that will not go against any religious viewpoints, that will not discredit another’s political values, or disrespect someone’s lifestyle beliefs.
One thing—the most peaceful thing. I will join you today.
For many, stopping is not possible without having their wellbeing compromised. All humans deserve the right rest, to do so without compromising their safety. If pausing isn’t an option for any segment of our global community, serious change is needed. I will join you on May 19th
In the midst of the pandemic, it appears as if there is security in what was a ‘normal’ life. Security is an illusion. The byproduct of not being at peace with this truth, is fear. To find these answers and to move toward solutions begins with a pause. I will join you on May 19th
It’s easy to feel powerless when governments change yet not much else changes in terms of respect for all humans and our planet. What if the solution starts first with proving to ourselves that we can come together, under one initiative? I will join you on May 19th
The highest form of noticing comes with a pause. It is there where we can find a truth staring directly at us. Our purpose in life is to change how we view our world. The more we see truth, the more we realize we’re all looking for the same thing. I will join you on May 19th.
Those who cannot join us on this day are also the ones we need to protect: frontline workers, first responders, and especially sadly, those who if they stopped for a day, would jeopardize their safety in some way. If not for yourself, pause for them. I will join you on May 19th
“I’m angry/scared and I don’t know what to do. I know I have to do something, but I don’t know which way to go.” Confusion is the byproduct of trying to make decisions from a place of anger and/or fear. Our clearest answers come from a place of peace. I will join you on May 19th
“I need to do this. But when I think about ‘stopping’ in any way, I immediately feel resistance—a palpable fear. And I can tell it’s not going to go away. I’m resistant because I’m afraid of what I might feel. Not looking only makes it worse though.” I will join you on May 21st
Taking a close look at myself can be so uncomfortable. How I perceive this world, and how I behave in it, can reveal to me both beauty and ugliness. It’s easy for me to repeat habit patterns which keep me from seeing what I need to do differently. I will join you on May 21st.
Lockdowns don’t count—when was the last time, if at all, that you truly stopped—devoting time to notice how your body really feels? Where your mind wants to go when you release it from all responsibilities? When you make ample space for your heart to clearly talk to your head?
