@Brianmimi @HildaMuteshi I sit in recruitment, scholarship panels, and transcript peppered with Cs goes straight to the bin, regardless of degree. Hard skills work you can outsource. Soft skills—creativity, imagination, empathy-are the premium these days and humanities grads come out on top there.
@HildaMuteshi My advice to all students on subject choice: Its not what you do, its how well you do. A 1st in english beats a pass in Finance any day. I studied Econ and german studies and got a 1st because of my straight As in german studies. An english major is great education.
