Part 4 of our 30th Anniversary Weekend.
A town hall conversation about the current state of youth baseball and why Dayton Classics is committed to doing things differently.
Less politics. Less chasing hype. More player development. ⚾️
This weekend is about more than baseball — it’s about the players, families, coaches, and relationships that helped build this program.
We’ll celebrate the past while getting after it on the field with measurable testing, scrimmages, and competition all weekend long.
Our foundational weekend focuses on intentionally shaping young people. We're partnering with Alice Young Basora and the International Peace Museum to help players develop personal codes of conduct, fostering identity as individuals and athletes.
During the 30th Anniversary Founders Weekend, we’re not just watching history… we’re talking about it. The conversations around integration, respect, and the impact baseball has had on bringing people together matter now more than ever.
Because this game? It belongs to everyone
Baseball has always been more than a game—it’s been a bridge.
From the courage of Jackie Robinson breaking barriers, to the countless voices and cultures that have shaped the game, this weekend is about understanding where we’ve been—and where we’re going.
30 Years of Tradition. One Standard. ⚾
From where we started… to who we are today.
Over the past three decades, the look has evolved—but the mission hasn’t.
Every jersey tells a story.
Every logo represents a generation.
30 years of Dayton Classics — and this year, we celebrate everyone who’s been part of the journey.
From former players and families to our current teams, this is your program… and this is your celebration.
It all begins May 29th with our Organizational Weekend.
Another one climbing the ladder ⬆️
We’re proud to recognize former Dayton Classics standout and Wright State product Boston Smith on his promotion to High-A Winston-Salem!
Keep going, B — we’re all watching
When you hear parents talk about the chemistry within the Dayton Classics family, it says everything.
And when you combine that with a clear goal — helping players reach the next level — it becomes real.
College baseball isn’t just a dream here… it’s a path.
More former Classics in action this spring at the collegiate level:
Luke Sutter – Taylor University
Reid Tintsman – Adrian University
Jake Paulick – Northern Kentucky University
Carson Clark – Mount St. Mary’s
The stage changes. The standard doesn’t.
“Dayton Classics helped make our son recruitable. The coaching, competition, and development prepared him for the next level. Grateful for everything the Dayton Classics program did for him."
