Five Veterans enrolled at Dayton VA were honored at this year’s Welcome Home event on Friday. It was the 18th year we’ve teamed up with the Dayton Dragons for the special event. This year’s honorees are Lloyd Lynch, Willie Clemons, Jr., Larry Crutcher, Earl Sheppheard, and Philip Hart. They each received an American flag that had flown over the U.S. Capitol, specials coins, Dragons swag and other tokens of appreciation. Mr. Lynch, who is a WWII Veteran and 101 years old, threw out the first pitch. They and their families also enjoyed a nice meal on the party deck.
