Nobody should make Afrikaners feel less important in the country of their birth, just as nobody should make Zulu people feel ashamed of practising their culture and traditions.

South Africa was never meant to be a country where one culture has to disappear for another to exist. We can celebrate diversity without treating it like a competition.

If Afrikaners want to celebrate their heritage through sport or cultural events, leave them. If Zulus want to celebrate theirs, leave them too. The same respect should apply to every community.

Some people behave as if another group's cultural celebration somehow takes food off their plate. Relax. Someone playing rugby, dancing, singing, or celebrating their heritage isn't reducing yours. 😂

The real enemy isn't culture — it's the mindset that only your culture deserves space. A confident nation doesn't fear diversity; it embraces it.

AmaBhungane journalist Orrin Singh explaining that in court papers, the IGI Imtiaaz Fazel, alleges that Police Minister Senzo Mchunu played a central role in mobilising state organs against Gen Dumisani Khumalo.

According to the papers, events accelerated after the December 2024 raids at the homes of Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala and Brown Mogotsi.

Fazel alleges that after the raids, Mchunu disbanded the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT) at the end of December 2024, and that in January 2025 there was a series of planted leaks and media exposés from suspicious sources targeting Khumalo and his CI recruitment panel.

These fake news reports focused on panel members, including Dineo Mokwele, with the apparent objective of indirectly targeting Gen Khumalo.
