@Simon_Hypixel I know one's been said multiple times, support for multiple saved avatars (perhaps up to 5 or 10), along with more tops of varying lengths (preferably more "cropped" shirts). There are a few character designs I've wanted to make but couldn't so it would be nice.

@slikey Do you know if it'll be possible to install Hytale to a different drive in the future? I have a 64 GB model Steam Deck and no matter what I do to free up storage, the game won't install due to insufficient storage. It would be helpful for low internal storage users.

Now that we've reached the end of the year, I just want to wish you all a New Years Eve, and list out my non-exhaustive goals for 2026: learn Java, Minecraft plugin and mod development, Hytale server plugin development and get back to making video content on YouTube.

@juliastechspot And also a program I wish had a good port. The closest thing I found is FSearch but it doesn't launch on startup and has to completely re-index files every single time it launches, as it does not save any indexes to a database.

You deserve to know what's happening with Mercury right now. We heard the news. We're expanding Mercury past Minecraft, for the first time, to Hytale. No final name has been decided on yet, and there's no exact date of reveals. Also, the original Mercury server is returning.

And for those wondering about when Hytale launches: No, Mercury is not jumping ship to Hytale. Minecraft will remain its main home, but a Hytale version of Mercury is not out of the question.

Yes, it's been a while since I posted on here. It's been quite a busy time for me. I just wanted to say, this is a massive moment for the Hytale community, and I hope the game, even in its rough state, succeeds. I hope to give more updates on my content soon.

Going by this, I do agree that thanks to the changes to item components in the most recent versions, it is now possible to essentially replicate legacy combat mechanics accurately (finally!), making 1.8.9 as a viable version to play on to soon be invalidated.
