Unfortunately the reality is way more depressing.

The average liberal believes life is what happens to you and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.

The rampant homelessness, drug use, destruction of public spaces, etc is something that has happened and is not a result of any cause and effect.

Life will always continue in this trajectory because….well it just will.

Because of this thought process, the liberal believes choosing one candidate over another will never have any real world effect on these obvious problems.

Bass/Pratt can’t fix homelessness because nobody can because nobody has.

So instead the LA liberal will choose a candidate that allows them to gain some sort of real world benefit; status.

I think the argument everyone needs to make is this;

why should Muslims & Jews, who've been at war with each other for hundreds of years, be responsible for preserving Christian holy sites?

I think everyone that's capable of objective judgement would agree that the two most violent religions, who would literally nuke each other without Christians stopping them, should be in charge of Christian religious sites?

The answer is obvious. But Christians don't have the will...maybe that's a good thing right now. I'm not one to judge God's plans.

The most important thing is thinking about what future gens might value.
