@missusmummy I think most people struggle with it because we’re raised from a young age that louder more active outbursts can be bad, to be respectful to those around us, which is good. However, now those lessons are twisted to attach all non-conforming behaviors as radical or aggressive
@missusmummy I feel so bad for all these streamers that put their all into getting partner unsuccessfully, it takes over people. honestly, it’s gotten to a toxic level where many don’t feel valued unless they get it, no matter how dedicated and caring their community is despite it.
@Vallycuts It’s sad that the worst actors have adopted “tactics” from people who genuinely want to interact, ask for help, or be a part of whatever community. They take and take, and give nothing back.
@Princess_Ariya My parents dog has a lump too on his leg, sometimes dogs just do that 🤷♂️ fingers crossed and prayers you get many more years with them!
@YseraDreamfall For sure, I think I was wrapped up in wanting Sora’s story to reach that satisfying conclusion and instead got the “but wait, there’s more” tacked on so that soured it for me. Now that I’ve had a few years to sit with it, I’m happy being along for the ride.
@Randisim0@YseraDreamfall I get this is Twitter (or X) and this is par for the course, but to confidently state a bold assumption on such faulty logic will always be funny to me. A fan CAN want a series to end, and after waiting years for 3 I was hoping it would give a satisfying and complete conclusion.
@yukaaVT A little detail I really appreciate is the hair being a little messy. It’s a more wild design so of course the hair is not going to be salon-styled, but also you actually *wear the hood* so it’s really fun to see that represented on the model (whether that’s on purpose or not
@zheelious Based on the crowd this post attracted and the views being shared… yeah I think I might have to start following Elara now. Had no idea who either person was, but if Elara existing upsets the type of people I’m seeing in these replies they must be good
@LuminusRed@Dexerto People really show their true colors under these kinds of posts. Guys, they’re dressed hot, they know people will be looking, but that’s not the same as letting people be creeps towards them. People drawing false equivalencies instead of actually caring about the issue of consent
@Nounaria just wanted to alert you, in case you were unaware, that your Discord account looks to have been hacked. Saw this pop up in a server I’m in. Hopefully this and your other accounts are safe.
@yukaaVT@CrevettaVT Now almost two years into my 30’s I’ve paid off loans, almost have my card paid off too, gotten ambitions and passions again, started losing weight and lifting, all because I just got out of the funk I was stuck in and actually looked around at what I could do then and there.
@yukaaVT@CrevettaVT As soon as 30 hit, a switch flipped in my head. I knew it didn’t have to be this way and I figured out how to make the proper strides to fix my life. Was I still tired and stressed? sure, sometimes. but it helped to have the mistakes of my 20’s to look back and learn from
@DailyTBLD @muyhiram Like, the point of most writing is to have people want to read it, and stick with it to the end. The evil force has to be compelling if it’s going to be a major component of the story. That comes with the stakes of them succeeding, sympathy, allure, or maybe sheer presence.
@DailyTBLD @muyhiram I have a friend who is really into villains, and it took me a while to see why but I think I get it now. Fiction is how we both escape and come to terms with reality, and being able to create evil, view it, judge it, and fairly represent it is a skill.
@yukaaVT For real. I had no idea they existed before seeing these replies, so I guess I should consider myself lucky I wasn’t blindsided like her actual audience.
