I know biotech has been flying for a couple of Qs, but is this THE moment where eveyone becomes an AI drug discovery expert? Want to position accordingly
A little messaging problem on the $AMAT call. You can’t provide massively bullish qualitative comments on the business but remain deliberately conservative on the quantitative side…
@DoomerSG@BNNBloomberg APAC less than 3% of 2025 FDI, China deals hit a 16 year low. US and UK inv much bigger story ATM imo. Well see how the china deal unfolds.
Think $ALAB rips so much fkn higher. Ant training a new skynet on tranium, which runs on hardware using electrical connectors, just shows frontier is not confined to optics only. Plus huge TCO advantage.
@ContrarianCurse Overblown agreed. But makes me rethink Eng firms pricing models; if junior engs used to bill 40h for task A but AI assitance drops this to 10h, pretty major issue for cost+billing models.
@michaeljburry If i understand well;
Frontier forces purchase of best chips.
Older gen chips cascade down to lower compute tasks
Older gen = overkill for 95% of enterprise workloads (for now)
Rental cost vs higher energy cost erode margins
Useful econ life disappears
