Onboards & team comms from the Christopher Bell/Chase Elliott crash. Sounded like Bell's spotter, Tab Boyd, was shaken up a bit.
"Are you OK man? ... Are you alright?"
"That was a unbelievable hit, y'all."
"Alright, he's getting out, guys. He's getting out."
"That was an unbelievable impact."
Crew chief Adam Stevens, meanwhile, was very frustrated with getting taken out in another crash not of his driver's doing. "I don't know what else to do, Tab. This is ridiculous. Fuckin' go plow fields or something. This is stupid."
Chase Elliott's spotter Trey Poole similarly key'd the mic right away to make sure Chase was OK. Chase radioed back an affirmative.
i know it’d be “impossible” but i would buy that hat without question. flag too.
wish they’d just jump over all the legal bs and put both on the RCR/JGR store for a week. send all the proceeds to the bundle of joy fund.
Brexton, at 11 years old, honoring his late father while staying strong for his grieving mother is something I’ll never forget seeing. Your dad is so proud of you. 💔
This weekend the RCR team is unloading a car with a different number for a replacement driver just like they had to do 25 yrs ago in 2001.
I can’t even imagine what they are going through, especially the ones that were there when both Dale and Kyle passed.

Statement from Kyle Busch family on what caused his death: "The medical evaluation provided to the Busch Family concluded that severe pneumonia progressed into sepsis, resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications." @NASCARONFOX
I feel for Joe Gibbs, the only owner to fully get the most out of Kyle Busch. Joe could surround Kyle with people that harnessed his aggression into something positive. The fact that 18 hasn’t been used since shows you Joe’s feelings on KB. The man has already buried two sons…
I feel for Richard Childress as he loads his racecar up to come to the track without his driver yet again. I’m sure this will take its toll on him. Not sure the fire was burning hot to begin with. An official change in leadership at RCR is probably upcoming.
