Today we hosted the DCES Game Shop...year 6!! Through the generous donations of staff, families, friends & community, we reached our goal of 400 games! EVERY child chose a game to take home to their family for break! Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, or helped today!

Another great day of hands-on science enrichment with our partners Baltimore Science Guys! Every student gets 3 enrichment sessions each month while their teachers participate in half-day PD, data analysis & planning! @Swindy1615

We had a great time with @YogaMouth Collective @ our assembly on Monday! We learned about mindfulness, took the Yinja Challenge & learned a new strategy to use when we need to reset.

DCES 2nd Annual Math Night Trunk-or-Treat was a blast! Over 300 guests learned about grade level math standards, practiced activities to support standards, and took home resources to keep the learning going! Then they got to visit our indoor "trunk"-or-treat! @Swindy1615

On Monday, DCES participated in the Baltimore Ravens #cawtoaction with a CAWmUnity Walk! We celebrated our connections & unity as we cheered for each other! We even got to do our School Promise all together! At DCES, we CONNECT, COMMIT, INSPIRE! We are one COMMUNITY! @Swindy1615

Celebrated yesterday's 94% (our 3rd in a row this week) by welcoming our new AP, @Mrs_Carringer, with a very wet welcome to the challenge! Students from Ms. Vervier's 2nd grade class (& @Swindy1615) had some fun while the rest of us watched on the live feed.
