Pope Francis announced on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, that he will canonize Blessed Carlo Acutis during the Jubilee of Teenagers occurring April 25–27, 2025.

The Vatican expects Acutis' canonization Mass to occur on Sunday, April 27, at 10:30 a.m. local time.

Blessed Carlo is best known for his computer programming skills and website dedicated to Eucharistic miracles. He died of leukemia on Oct. 12, 2006, at age 15. Pope Francis beatified him on Oct. 10, 2020. He is the first millennial to be beatified and will become the first millennial saint.

However, while Blessed Carlo is best known as a computer programmer, the teen earned many additional nicknames for various reasons.

Here are some of Carlo Acutis' nicknames:

1) "God's Influencer"
Acutis is referred to as "God's influencer" because he utilized technology to promote the Catholic faith.

2) "Patron Saint of the Internet" (unofficial)
The teen is known as the unofficial "patron saint of the internet" after creating a website promoting Eucharistic miracles.

3) "Computer Genius"
Acutis is considered a "computer genius" because of his incredible computer programming skills.

4) "God's Digital Evangelist"
Acutis is "God's Digital Evangelist" because he used his computer skills for Catholic digital evangelization.

5) "First Millennial Saint"
Acutis is often referred to as the "First Millenial Saint" because he is the first person of the millennial generation to be canonized in the Catholic Church.

6) "Cyber Apostle of the Eucharist"
The nickname "Cyber Apostle of the Eucharist" stems from his creation of a website dedicated to Eucharistic miracles.

7) "The Teen Tech Whiz"
Acutis' nickname, "The Teen Tech Whiz" recognizes his talents using technology, specifically computers.

8) "The Digital Missionary"

The teen is considered "The Digital Missionary" because he utilized digital resources to spread the Catholic faith.

9) "The Gamer Saint"
Acutis received the nickname, "The Gamer Saint" because he loved playing video games.

10) "The Holy Hacker"
Acutis is also considered "The Holy Hacker" due to his understanding of using technology for evangelical purposes in the digital age.
