@Only9built It's a different climb compared to Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis. Most use the train to get their social media photo. To me it's wrong though and doesn't look good for their cause.

@petitecyclist UK audaxes starts at 30km and have the Randonneur level up to 150km. It looks like Germany doesn't bother with those. Battistrada may be worth a look - https://t.co/mH0MFLp9BN - as it covers all sorts of events from very short sportive-type rides to ultra-distance races.

@theburdbrain @GBNEWS Any club cyclist has to have third party insurance. Also, cyclists are probably covered third party under separate house insurance. You don't get that with a car.
