It’s been an incredible summer supporting our cadets developing their seamanship and navigation skills aboard this incredible WWII warship. The rich history combined with the dedication of the crew has been a true inspiration. Proud to have been part of this partnership!
Our cadets have had a fab weekend onboard @HMSMedusa & they were greeted by @RAdmJudeTerry who popped down for a visit! RAdm Terry also has the pleasure to promote one of our #NavyCadets to Leading Cadet! BZ!

A pleasure to instruct and sign off the VCC's first 5 Powerboat L2 staff this weekend. Our Royal Navy summer camp at HMS RALEIGH will see 6 of our CFAVs undertake the RYA safety boat course and then supervise over 50 during camp. Stay tuned for updates on sailing qualifications!
Immensely proud to be part of the VCC and witness the Sunset Colours aboard HMS Medusa this evening. We are incredibly lucky to have the support of Alan Watson and his fabulous Medusa crew! @medusa1387
Was great to get out on the water in Portsmouth this evening running a powerboat level two course for some of our adult volunteers was very fun and hopefully there be getting our Cadets on the water in the not too distant future!
Introducing the latest member of our VCC Gosport Band!! I’m not entirely sure how I got roped into this one, but it's undoubtedly thanks to the infectious enthusiasm of our awesome cadets! Very proud of our band! Thank you for the encouragement (I think) to play with you 😊 I certainly need some practice!
An incredible 137 Volunteer Cadet Corps cadets and staff attended HMS Collingwood Open Day, manning recruitment stands, displaying our Band, and competing in the Field Gun competition. Congratulations to our SULTAN team for winning the day! I had the pleasure of briefing Commodore Bolton, Chair of the Royal Navy Field Gun Executive Committee, who was impressed with the professionalism, teamwork, and camaraderie displayed by our corps. BZ to you all! @VCCcadets @ComdVCC
Brilliant fun and very proud of our VCC Field Gun crews at HMS Collingwood today. Surprised to spot this awesome chap in not one, but two of the @QINETIQ promo videos on their stand!
Last weekend, the Volunteer Cadet Corps had the incredible opportunity to spend time aboard HMS Medusa. This historic vessel, which played a crucial role in D-Day, served as a navigation leader for the Allied invasion. We had a brilliant time, getting hands-on experience with navigation and seamanship skills. A huge thanks to the skipper and his remarkable crew aboard @medusa1387 for supporting the VCC and expanding our opportunities afloat. It’s brilliant to be a part of expanding our experiences and opportunities for the Corps.

Fantastic weekend assessing Duke of Edinburgh expedition for Bronze and Silver practice. Cadets showed great enthusiasm, practiced rescue skills, cleared the lake of some rubbish as part of their expedition aim, and honed map reading and paddling skills. Proud of this group and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Huge thanks to all who supported! 🌟

Proud to have spent the afternoon with @VCCcadets out on the water today to collect litter as part of their Duke of Edinburgh expedition aims. A fantastic effort resulted in several sacks being cleared. Thanks to @BritishCanoeing@paddle_uk for the clean-up kit.
