not flawless.
The box office numbers simply indicate that audiences want more character-driven, smaller stories.

Fun side note: Gotham Knight is set in the Nolan universe…
So, Conroy is playing Christian Bale’s Batman! Pretty wild!

The tragedy of this show is that’s it’s NOT a show coming out AFTER having seen this Hal Jordan become Green Lantern and take on this version of Sinestro.
The general audience NEEDS to see the roots of this rivalry. However, still phenomenal performances and a great show so far

Unironically, one of the best scenes in any comic-book film:

- the collage style compositions..
- Elfman’s “cool guy” version of his Spider-Man theme matching Peter’s motivation..
- the red and blue coming from MJ’s hair/eyes..

Tells so much in a short time with no dialogue!

Honestly the first Batman that felt like he was ripped out the comics. Having this and Arkham Batman back to back was the best time to be a Batman fan. Lets all ignore that Suicide Squad game though.

Look… no one is asking that we see Ben die in every Spider-Man movie. But THIS moment should inform, impact, and inspire every decision that Peter makes.
DC / Batman fans would never be as forgiving if an adaptation simply refused to acknowledge Bruce’s parents.

Removing Uncle Ben is one of the most blatant cases of the MCU misunderstanding Spider-Man. Ben’s death is what forces Peter to confront the consequences of his own selfishness and gives him the moral code that defines Spider-Man.

@Reidosamba1 No one is arguing that it’s LITERALLY the same physical suit from back then. But, in universe, it is suppose to be the same design and likeness. People pretend it’s not to excuse how poorly it looks in the film.

Can we stop pretending that Tobey’s suit from No Way Home is some “alternate” or “ rebuilt” version of his classic look in an attempt to excuse how sloppy it looks?
That IS supposed to be the same suit…
It just looks like that because the CGI is terrible.

You know how in No Way Home, Tobey had a suit that was similar to his Raimi films, but it wasn’t 100% the same since it had been rebuilt from scratch? Same thing in Doomsday. It’s his Raimi suit - no Iron Spider coloring or anything like that.
