Arguably the most important part of an architectural education is the regular practice of design critique, or a “crit.” Sometimes one-on-one with a professor and sometimes pinning up in front of your peers, the crit revolves around presenting your ideas for critical feedback for the purpose of learning and making the design better.
More broadly speaking, there is a big difference between complaining and critiquing. Complaining is indiscriminately whining about what one thinks is wrong without providing any real perspective or potential solutions. Critiquing is engaging with constructive feedback and alternative options with the goal of a better outcome.
No one needs more complainers.
@aqualung74@timburchett@chiproytx Pretty prime example of why you’re not cut out for legislating, but gold star for the gusto and number of question marks.
This is one of the first legitimate points I’ve seen you make on this forum, Congressman. Maybe there’s hope for you yet.
Yes, there is no reason we need a national, digital currency. It’s just another mechanism to create an articulated market for treasuries and devaluing the dollar.
@DollhouseKM@WhiteHouse It’s a disgrace. This administration has not done a single thing to protect the environment or protect Americans from the effects of environmental harm.
@mattvanswol Well I’m with you on the budget and term limits. Unfortunately I’m not sure if there is anyone in Congress legitimately interested in either one.
@realBrandonGill Paxton is a blatant disgrace to every level of our political system. It’s an embarrassment to Texas that he’ll be on the ballot.
Meanwhile, neither Paxton nor yourself have anything on Talarico. He’s the best hope Texas has.
@SenTuberville Actually it’s a shame the bill is hot garbage, Senator. You could have made this easier on everyone and simply written a better bill for voter ID. Instead, you have this trash and your interns have to sit here and stump it day after day. Go back to the drawing board.
@RepDonBacon It is a reality, but it’s also just not enough. We should be collecting what it costs to run the comm government. When we (i.e. you) balance the budget then people can talk about lowering taxes.
@BigDawg9232 It’s not really a question of belief at this point, dawg. Just follow the facts, the ego, the idiocy, the theft from Americans and the self-infatuation… it all points to the same place.
