So many awesome sky shots Friday night. This was definitely an upper echelon sunset.

It's happened again... Rockville families were just informed that Wootton High School will CLOSE EARLY TODAY at 12 noon because of an inoperative air-conditioning system and forecast temperatures exceeding 95 degrees.
This is not an isolated incident. This school year, Wootton has already had to close early multiple times because of major infrastructure failures. Now students and staff are being -- once again -- sent home early because the building cannot safely handle extreme heat.
This is unacceptable. As I have been regularly testifying about and writing about... Montgomery County has delayed, deferred, and pushed off necessary school infrastructure work at Wootton and other schools for years. Now we are seeing the consequences in real time. These are not abstract budget decisions. These decisions affect students, teachers, staff, families, and the basic ability of our schools to operate safely.
And yet, instead of treating school infrastructure as an emergency (which it is), the County Council recently removed even more funding from the Capital Improvements Program to help cover operating expenses. That choice may have solved a short-term budget problem, but it worsened the long-term infrastructure crisis our students are living with every day.
When is enough enough? Our schools should not need a closure, a crisis, or a community outcry before its building conditions are taken seriously. Wootton, Magruder, Twinbrook, Damascus, and other schools have been speaking out for years. We need a better plan. https://t.co/lKMk4gQjog
Our students, teachers, and staff deserve safe buildings. And Montgomery County needs to stop passing the buck and start funding a serious, transparent, long-term school infrastructure plan.
The real estate market today is not the same market we saw three years ago, or even last year.
Buyer behavior has changed. Inventory levels have shifted. Interest rates, affordability, and consumer confidence are all playing a role.
Yet I continue to see homes sitting..
This is Ramsey. He is a mail delivery dog. Shipping is free, and while packages might not be handled with care, they are handled with enthusiasm. 14/10
This is Simba. He has a special stuffed friend who protects him while he sleeps. Partly by being big spoon, and partly by being a pretty good decoy. 12/10

In a market where every showing matters, that feedback can be invaluable.
If you’re thinking about selling, make sure you’re working with someone who understands today’s market and has a strategy designed for today’s buyers, not yesterday’s.
