@nelsonchamisa A beautiful dream, but a little too oversimplified. A trip on the Shinkansen( Japanese Bullet Train) from Tokyo to Nagoya, costs between USD93-121 for a 359km journey. Roughly $0.49 per km.. That is not cheap for a daily commute. We have more urgent matters than bullet trains.

@daddyhope Bullet trains and most modern rail (heavy and light) are not economically sustainable in terms of Fare Box Recovery Ratio( FBRR) and generally rely on Non Fare Box Revenues. Bus Rapid Transit is more feasible for daily commutes and roads should be fixed for long distance travel

@daddyhope I think this ( resistance and retaliation) was bound to happen regardless of who the American president is. They have far too much riding on use of USD for Intl Biz. Big diff is Trump is vocal about it whereas other administrations would opt for covert operations of sabotage.

Prison is no place for a one year old, regardless of whatever crimes his/her parents are accused of.

I want Africa to know that there is a one-year-old child in a Zimbabwean prison.
This child has been in prison for over a month since June 16!
Her mother was arrested on June 16 while she was part of a group of opposition supporters commemorating June 16 Youth Day.

It is winter in Zimbabwe, and prisoners sleep on the floor.
It is inhumane to subject a child to such cruelty simply because her mother is opposed to your political views!

To think that a one-year-old child is being subjected to such inhumane conditions due to her mother's political beliefs is an utter injustice.
No child should ever be punished for the perceived sins of their parents, and yet that's exactly what is happening here in Zimbabwe.

The fact that this is taking place during winter only compounds the suffering of both mother and child and the 74 other activists arrested with her.

How can we call ourselves human when we allow such atrocities to happen in the name of politics?
