A massive fire broke out on Tuesday 9th june, due to blowout that has been continuing since 27 May at Assam's Baghjan oil well. The impact of the fire was such that the flames were visible from more than 2 km away.
Two people have been killed in the massive fire so far.

Urgently needed basic facilities at Tlabung hospital in Lunglei dist. Fulen Devi Chakma, 23, was taken to Tlabung hosp, ultrasound found twins but had no facility to handle her case. Delivered a girl child at home, but 2nd child was still inside. Died on 10.5.2020. @CMOMizoram
