Tesla has just announced that the Cybertruck will not be sold in Australia or New Zealand.
Tesla is offering these Cybertruck reservation holders one free year of FSD (Supervised) if you order a new Model 3 or Model Y by the end of 2026.
"After careful consideration, plans to produce Cybertruck for Australia and New Zealand have been discontinued. To thank you for your early support, we'd like to offer you a complimentary 1-year FSD (Supervised) subscription when you order a new Tesla Model 3 or Model Y."
This is genuinely sad. First they discontinued the ModelX /S, and now the Cybertruck is officially cancelled for Australia and New Zealand.
I’ve driven my ModelX for almost 10 years . I got it before I had any kids and now I have a family of three children. Everyone is happy with this car , it’s perfect size for us. Those falcon wing doors are not just an eye catcher, they are actually very practical and make it much easier when getting the kids in and out of their car seats. But unfortunately, you can’t get a new ModelX anymore .
I was so looking forward to driving Cybertruck out camping and doing some off roads with my kids, and now that’s off the table too.
I understand that Cybertruck’s sales didn’t meet expectations, ModelX production line had to shift for Optimus, but still, it’s just so disappointing. @elonmusk
