Factually, you cannot tell me Destiny 2 didn’t make enough money to fully fund Destiny 3 and Marathon. Destiny 2 has reportedly generated 1.5B over 9 years.

With it costing about 150-200M a year to keep the game running, and about an estimated 500M+ to make Destiny 3 (without reused assets).

Had they ended the game with FS and the MoT update we just received, I can almost guarantee we wouldn’t be in this situation where the game was loosing more money then it was making.

Revenge plot or not, someone somewhere doesn’t want D3 to happen.

It would take an estimated 1,200-1,500 devs to make D3, and with the company being rumored to have mentioned laying off 50% (amongst other percentages) of its employees, it’s looking bleak.

All in all greed killed this franchise, and it’s honestly not in the odds it’ll ever recover. At least not for a very long time.

@HenryHarper523 Its just the face scanning. Her voice work is fantastic but she has the same issue I take nowadays with The Rock, Ryan Reynolds, or even Adam Sandler, being I dont see the character theyre playing but THE ACTORS. Hell even Matt Mercer takes me out of the immersion now and then.
