Good call in my book. Anton would’ve been successful if he just stood still in front of Gill, as opposed to going towards him for the pick.

Let's not be naive here.
Anton's role in this set piece design is to impede the goalkeeper.
Is it a bit soft? Yes.
But do teams understand that efforts to hinder or obstruct the 'keeper is risking a whistle? Also yes.
You'll see it called at least once in most matches.
