An OK week rather than a great one — and definitely some unusual results!
Slight rank drop, but heading into the international break I'm pretty happy with where I am.
In the mix. Solid team. Solid start.
Around 120 points off top spot — plenty of football still to come.

Post 3/3 — What now?
🔭 SO…WHAT NEXT?
The United boys are under review, but Spurs is a fixture I'm happy to give them.
More importantly, I'm making NO early transfers during the international break.
Injuries will happen. European games and rotation are coming.
The priority for the next phase is simple:
Get 11 players on the pitch — with as many doublers as possible.
So over the break I'm going to look ahead rather than backwards.
I'll post some thoughts on the teams and players I'm targeting over the next 6 GWs, the fixture opportunities and where the doubles could take us.
Hopefully something useful to read while Dream Team goes quiet…
And if I can finally get myself organised, the first Deadline Talk video might even appear! 🎥😂

Post 2/3 — Decisions
👍 THE GOOD
Van Dijk — happy with that move. I really think Liverpool can become more solid defensively, particularly with Araujo looking good at RB. Jacquet continues to impress too.
Going down to one Arsenal defender worked this week. It won't every week!
And returns for Isak & Haaland are obviously welcome.
😬 THE BAD
Livramento over Truffert.
Schoolboy error — and I'm annoyed with myself for it.
I looked too far ahead. Bournemouth's immediate fixture wasn't ideal because I already had Isak, so I went Livramento.
But with limited budget, Truffert was the pick available to me.
Sometimes you don't need to solve GW6, GW7 and GW8.
Just pick the best option in front of you.
Livramento then getting injured and requiring a Sub rather rubbed it in! 😂

Two changes for me:
🔄 Ben White → Van Dijk
🔄 Egan → Livramento
I would've liked to find a route to Saka, but couldn't make it work without changing more than I wanted. One to revisit — potentially with Palmer making way next time around.

Max Captain was a small win for me.
JSL wasn't someone I'd have captained — Tavernier was probably where I'd have gone — so I make it roughly a 12-point gain personally.
Against Haaland, the popular captain on 22pts, it's potentially an even bigger swing.
I'm sure there'll be better Max Captain opportunities later in the season, but for my team, this felt like a good week to use it.

@DonieFpl @Dreamteamrating Just a quick glance , but maybe Leif Davis & Truffert , both on 0.3 rises , Truffert you’d prob keep , Davis capable of an attacking return ?
