✍️ Based on multiple interviews with producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, here is a complete summary of everything we learned about Resident Evil Veronica so far:

• Resident Evil Veronica is being developed by the same team behind Resident Evil 2 (2019) and Resident Evil 4 (2023), with Kazunori Kadoi and Yasuhiro Anpo serving as directors. Kadoi previously worked on the original Code: Veronica and appears to be taking a leading role on the project.

• Capcom considers Code: Veronica to be just as important as any numbered Resident Evil title and views it as a major chapter in the franchise’s overall storyline.

• The game is entirely third-person. The first-person scenes shown in the reveal trailer were created purely to surprise players and do not represent the actual gameplay experience.

• Gameplay is intentionally much closer to Resident Evil 2 (2019) than Resident Evil 4 or Resident Evil Requiem, with a strong focus on survival horror, resource management, inventory management, and constant tension.

• Hirabayashi specifically wants players to experience the same kind of survival horror feelings they had while playing Resident Evil 2 Remake.

• Capcom repeatedly describes Veronica as a survival horror game rather than an action-focused title. Claire is not being designed as a super-powered action hero.

• The story takes place three months after Resident Evil 2. While Claire has become more mature and emotionally resilient after surviving Raccoon City, she remains a grounded and vulnerable character.

• Claire Redfield is the central protagonist of the remake, and the story is primarily focused on her journey, growth, emotions, and motivations.

Odyssey will be proving two points across the world….first point is that the flat format is going to be available wherever the flat screens are..like there is no IMAX exclusive thing anymore…so a flat AR film doesnt just have to go to IMAX...which I think is a good thing, and makers should consider practicing this a lot…second point is never in India have I seen such a pricey tag for a hollywood film…and odyssey ticket bookings might open a window for that in India….But I hope the second practice flops big time. CINEMA shouldntt be expensive.
