Me at 21 y/o: Galileo spacesuit teeshirt, bad haircut, freshly high on finishing a summer term at Oxford, roving the woods of Lincolnshire with Eddie (pictured), same glasses I have now (?), and literally no concept of COVID-19. Unabashedly anachronistic & cringe.
I tried to buy the light blue American spirits the other day, but the gas station man gave me the turquoise one and I bought it because God forbid I try to explain the difference between sky blue and turquoise to a random man at a gas station.
Need to start a substack specifically for my morning voice memo rants about institutionalized corporate journalism instead of sending them to @RealAndyFancher
@jacobandrewlong also has me thinking (as a person w chronic fatigue) what inclusionary rhetorical shifts need to happen in certain sectors of (ablest) "workout culture" - bc a lot of people simply want movement that aligns with their abilities. Maybe the algorithm is feeding me bs!
Why are workouts advertised like "full body crusher!!! sore for days!!!"

Don't they know I just want to feel nice and slightly healthy for 15 mins a day?:) not be in pain?:) maybe make my legs a little slimmer?:)
