CONTEXT::

The individual in question was not a professional photographer but a dog groomer who often took photos of dogs for his social media accounts. A friend, seeking to save money on their wedding, convinced him to photograph the event. Despite expressing that wedding photography was not his forte, he agreed to do the job for $250.

The photographer began working around 11 am and was due to finish at around 7:30 pm. Around 5 pm, when food was being served, he was told that he could not stop to eat because he needed to continue taking photographs. Moreover, no table had been reserved for him, and there was no facility for him to even get water.

Feeling tired, hungry, and generally annoyed by the circumstances, the photographer asked the groom if he could take a 20-minute break to eat and drink. However, the groom told him that he needed to either continue photographing or leave without pay.

In response to this, the photographer deleted all the photos he had taken in front of the groom and left the wedding, stating that he was no longer their photographer. He mentioned that given the heat and his condition, he would have paid $250 just for a glass of cold water and a place to sit for five minutes.
