The hot Twitter take that the British Empire was an unalloyed evil -- the take that seems to lie behind rage against Elizabeth II -- is historically ignorant beyond measure.
Tim Strange has quite the impressive CV behind him and as if being a business titan wasn't enough - now he's showing his compassionate side as he joins CEO Sleepout Sunderland to bed down alongside Sunderland's most passionate business leaders.
@RoberttheLogman@anguswalkertalk@MartinSLewis @SimonClarkeMP Itโs the transportation which is the issue Oil/Gas prices will change however the fact remains the same we are held ransom as we are struggling with a supply is our issue. Supply/Demand- also Brexit and shutting down our power plants for maintenance just added to this issue.
@MicheleClaireHR @MesutAutonson @ellencorbett55@anguswalkertalk@MartinSLewis @SimonClarkeMP Itโs only nasty Michele as you are applying this to your own personal situation, if you allow everyone to leave fixed contracts then suppliers are hit with shortfalls which cost them money. Itโs difficult times but we canโt start breaching contracts to suit our personal needs.
@MesutAutonson @ellencorbett55@anguswalkertalk@MartinSLewis @SimonClarkeMP I agree with Mesut.
Who will reimburse the energy supplier as they traded on the live market for the gas needed to fulfill that order.
They would only make up a small amount of this but many small amounts make a lot.
Please donโt regurgitate the fact supplier makes profits
That was the most demagogic, outrageous, and divisive speech I have ever seen from an American president. Joe Biden essentially declared all those who oppose him and his agenda enemies of the republic. Truly shameful.
๐โโ๏ธ Weโre often asked why the #PriceCap on energy suppliers needs to increase when energy producers are posting record profits?
Watch our video for more information on the difference between your domestic supplier and energy producers ๐ฝ
The scariest thing about the #EnergyCrisis is when the rises cause a mass inflation of cost in every product, produced or transported within the UK. Energy cost rising will be the least of our worries, when the cost of food, and everything else rises along with it. @MartinSLewis
