I don't know who needs to hear this, but be prepared to be dazzled! Change is happening. You’re most likely to be the next likable & talked about star on the screen. Be sure to take a couple of acting lessons. You need to be #actorsprepared. #DeafTalent®️

'What else are we gonna throw away for the sake of making people comfortable? ... if we did that, that would be saying that [Wakandans] had been colonized'
Until Hollywood change & stop hiring hearing writers to tell our stories, that they finally grace BIPOC & Black deaf queer creators the opportunity to create our own stories, Hollywood will always be viewed of the land of gatekeeping our BIPOC Deaf voices. #TellBlackDeafStories

Leave before the devil gets there. - Denzel Washington
Both Diddy and Denzel are from Mount Vernon, New York. My family and I grew up in Mount Vernon. So did DMX, Dick Clark, Heavy D, and more.
One of my biggest life lessons:
Ignoring the red flags because you want to see the good in people and that it will cost you later. Believe them the first time.
Listen to your gut and instincts.
LGBTQ-focused films should be aware of potential anti-LGBTQ legislation in certain countries before submitting your film to the festival. Furthermore, some festivals may not emphasize DEI programming in their selection process. Don’t lose your money!
At least 20 Deaf people, especially BIPOC Deaf individuals, look up to me and aspire to work alongside me in film production. Therefore, I won’t let them down like ASL Films did to me and others who aspired to work for them.
