@casualhalofan@BrandonPLiebs Without Mo moves from 2009 on we don’t make 4 straight NLCS appearances- and 5 in 8 years. Within those appearances they made two World Series and won one. I’d say that’s a good run IMO. Last three years were bad for sure, though- I’ll give you that much.
@BallDataGuy@jmjones Where did you get a decade of complacency? We haven’t had more than 5 losing records since 96. That’s half a decade total of sub .500 teams in 30 years with the 4th best winning percentage in that time. Have a good night, friend. No need to get upset- we just disagree.
@BallDataGuy@jmjones many teams have a bad 3 1/2 years, but few have done it after a successful run of decades before it. Most have a bad stretch a few times in that time frame. Do you have any idea that we have the 4th best winning percentage in MLB since they took ownership in 96? I didn’t think so
@BallDataGuy@jmjones Like I said- there’s plenty of bad owners- we got a good one - I know it’s not a “popular” opinion. But me and people like Tim McKernan will stand behind it. Lot of haters out there for some reason.
@BallDataGuy@jmjones I don’t think we’d get as lucky with a new owner- IMO. Look at the record since he’s been majority owner. Care to have an owner like the Pirates and quite a number of others have?
@Sofia50020Sofia Tip of 20% on pretax total- would be roughly tip of $15.50. So total with food, beverages, tax and tip would be $102.00 rounded up. That’s if it was good service.
@JVMonte2 Saw the Pretenders open for The Who in 1980. Brass in Pocket had just come out, but they weren’t big just yet. They were good, but everybody was so pumped up for The Who, so they didn’t get a loud crowd.
