@ThanksCancer I know! My brother-in-law gave them to me for chemo days! I got so many cool chemo day socks from people! It became my thing and even the nurses would stop by to see what new socks I was wearing. Made chemo days a little more tolerable. 😊

@othercword You are so right! The best thing my oncologist did when my cancer came back as stage 4 was to tell me not to be scared and that we had so many new drugs that she knew would work for me. She gave me the gift of hope and 8 years later I’m still here and doing well!

@Janetef My first bout with it spurred me to become a yoga teacher, which brings me a lot of joy. My metastatic diagnosis resulted in me becoming friends with another woman with mets and we are now in a band together! It’s made me open to embrace life and to try to fully live each day.

@Liz_ORiordan When I was in chemo a friend sent me Wonder Woman socks. I shared a photo on Facebook of me in the socks at infusion and I soon received so many cool socks in the mail! It was such a day brightener. I wore a new pair each week to chemo and it sure lightened the mood!

@DrLRubalcava @JoaquinCastrotx I’m grateful for the insurance that covers it but not everyone has the good insurance that I have. I don’t know how they manage it.
