@bwfc_elliot@SPFLWatch It is, that's why they have been up in arms over it the last few years. They see it as South America being sidelined so FIFA could manipulate the draw and give Saudi the world cup
I don’t tend to post much on here for, reasons, but this is doing the rounds, SO…
I made a little video on why representation in sport matters. LGBT in my case. Meet Toby who made an awesome TikTok about me…
Appreciate the people who have said nice things! #F1#BarcelonaGP
From @TheAthleticFC: FIFA's president, Gianni Infantino, has stood back while journalists and even a referee have been denied entry to the U.S. The situation is a mess, our columnist writes. https://t.co/T39IluqZYa
The visa story is the most telling controversy this World Cup has had
Fifa is going against its own rules and precedent
Should it even be held in a state that clearly doesn't see it as a World Cup
What was the point of Infantino's cravenness to Trump?

@TheDimmeh I didn't like her but I do think she served a purpose. At one point Leo lashes out at Clive for saying sorry to his kind and I think she was another aspect that internal issue Leo had, because an out and proud gay man wouldn't have a friend like that if he was secure in himself
@superTV247 That last episode absolutely floored me. David Morrissey was fantastic. As the series went on he genuinely scared me in his scenes with Alan Cumming.
So far at the 2026 FIFA Epstein Cup before a ball kicked:
- Senegal & Uzbekistan squads treated like criminals upon arrival given full cavity searches;
- Africa’s best referee sent back to Somalia despite having a diplomatic passport;
- Iraq team photographer sent back despite valid visa;
- AIPS (international sport journalist association) calling on FIFA to sort out unacceptable visa issues of African & Iranian journalists;
- 90% of Moroccan fans with tickets denied entry
- 14 members of Iran backroom staff denied visas
Not a word from Gianni ”today I feel black/gay/disabled etc” Infantino.
Hosting the World Cup or any Fifa tournament has generally involved a guarantee of freedom of movement for all participating teams and staff. Note how it simply wasn’t an issue at recent World Cups
It is scandalous it has got to this
