Last week 4 Morgan State University SGJC students spent 2 days at North Carolina A&T with 4 JOMC students launching a 6-month investigative reporting project that looks at the impact of jails on African Americans. This is experiential learning.

On Thursday 46 students, faculty and staffers from Morgan State University's School of Global Journalism & Communication visited New York's Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. I'm a big advocate of experiental learning.
