Dickey Betts, the singer, songwriter and guitarist of the Allman Brothers Band whose piercing solos, beloved songs and hell-raising spirit defined the band and Southern rock in general, has died at the age of 80.

houses want to be lived in, books want to be read, instruments want to be played, drum machines want to be worked, balls want to be bounced, bodies wanna run and swim, use your shit or give it away
@steelernation I get him wanting to leave. He’s capable of making a greater impact. He had drops in clutch moments but to his defense he could never establish a good rhythm in our offense. He was amazing with Big Ben at the helm though. He’d be killer with the Chiefs.
@JManziel2 Your legacy in Sports Culture and history is cemented. One of the most exciting runs in all of college football. It mesmerized the nation. Your contributions and successes don’t need an asterisk.
@Blitz_Burgh Price tag aside, I like this idea better than Justin Fields. Cousins gives us a veteran presence and gives us the best chance to win playoff games with the skill players and elite defense we have now. He gets the ball out of his hands and is a high level preparation guy.
@Gaige_Rage Cute couple, can definitely picture them having a pleasant Saturday together picking out paint color swatches then stops at Starbucks for “a little treat.” God bless them.
@jakedarc@_STEELHERE I do too, out of all of them he’s the highest ceiling but a lot of pieces need to be put in place offensively with scheme and oline
