Last week the Government announced changes to the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill, removing the controversial "sunset clause". The clause would have seen many retained EU laws discarded on 31st December this year.

Instead, the government replaced the clause with a list of c600 pieces of EU law which will be removed. Any laws not in the revocation schedule will be retained automatically.
