Somebody got into a little predicament today! Released with no harm beyond a bruised ego!

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

@_brentonc Thanks!

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

This is year12 of owning sheep.Have encountered my first: aborted lamb,a golfball-sized abscess,& inverted eyelid on a lamb. #alwayslearning

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

I have a problem. .. he's cute & I don't mind him, UNTIL he climbs and eats the cat food first!

Wool harvest 2017 at Dearly Cottage!

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

Bouncing baby lamb!

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

"Processing" lambs at age 36 hours: white eartags, vaccination, band tails.

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

2 days after shearing - first #clunforest lambs of the season! Nice job, Svarta!

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

Freshly shorn #clunforest ewes, some are full of babies!

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

Shearing day at Dearly Cottage last weekend!

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

Amalia's 2017 kitten crop born last week! Heads left to right: Forsythia, Hvitserk, Freyja, Idun, Dalmatia, Khanty lies on the end.

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

Shearing will start early in the morning. .. and I'm definitely getting sick. 😩

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

Practice was immobile in the pasture again and needed help getting up again! Poor weak elderly llama!

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

Got a substantial area of the barn's dirt floor paved! Darker area was last year's work. Ready for shearing next weekend!

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

Last night dealt w/my 1st aborted lamb.Prize yearling ewe had brief labor, tiny undeveloped baby.Hope this doesn't foretell rest of season!

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

@_brentonc Kids in the mix is also a different matter! Two kids inSweden name1/2my kittens."Creamnose"?!At least it sounds better inSwedish!😄

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

@_brentonc Since cats don't know their names, why not rename them? I rename everything. Oh, housecats are exception &I'm stuck w/a Leonard.

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

Have felt Amalia's babies move inside her! I predict 4-5 kittens within 2 weeks, maybe only a week.

[Brenda Miller @DearlyCottage]

Who wants to help unload? Supplies to pave a little more of the barn dirt floor.
