I was actually considering trying out for this. Yeah, it would be a real long shot, and probably a waste of time. The competition will be fierce, and I can't imagine they would go for my art style...

But I thought - it would be a fun excuse to draw Witchblade. And, a credit on a popular book like that, could only help sales of my own, self-published indie comics.
So, why not at least roll the dice.

Well, according to the Contest Rules, it looks like I'm disqualified. They are only considering previously unpublished artists. They even give a list of companies you aren't allowed to have any previous credits with - and I've worked for 2 of them!

I've had work published by Image and I worked professionally as an artist for Walt Disney from 2005-2008 and 2014-2016.

Ah well.
