Today, Hon'ble Chief Minister @MamataOfficial said that the Modi government has halted the MGNREGA funds worth ₹7000 crore. She had given a deadline of February 1. The officers have already met & 156 central teams have visited West Bengal.

Today, Smt. @MamataOfficial distributed land pattas to 12,077 retired and active tea estate workers across 20 tea gardens in Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri. This follows last month's initiative where she distributed land pattas to 10,500 tea garden workers.

Notably, she assured that those who have received land pattas will also be entitled to Rs. 1.2 lakhs for the construction of their homes.
