This man, James Sullivan, was at CF McCarthys with Karen Read and John Okeefe hours before investigators claim that she murdered him. Proctors interview with him (which didn’t happen until 3 months later while a grand jury was being presented with the case) quotes James Sullivan as saying that Karen seemed “toasted”. He adamantly denies saying this. When he was issued a witness summons for the trial he met with Lally and McLaughlin and told them that Proctor lied in his report about this comment, and that he had said much more complimentary things about Karen. For that reason they never called him as a witness. From the beginning this coverup was more about who they DIDNT choose to speak with, than it was about proactively planting evidence. Lucky Loughran, Colin Albert, Tristin Morris, Sarah Levinson, Julie Nagel, James Sullivan - they didn’t speak with any of these people because none of them saw what witnesses should’ve seen if John was killed by Karen.

The Proctors are publicly supporting Greg Connor for Norfolk County District Attorney.

It has now been independently confirmed that a Greg Connor for District Attorney campaign sign is displayed on the front lawn of the home where former Massachusetts State Police Trooper Michael Proctor is reportedly living with his parents under his sister Courtney's roof.

The endorsement comes as Michael Proctor is once again making headlines following the release of text messages in the Karen Read vs MSP and CPD civil litigation. It also comes as Greg Connor's campaign has faced questions regarding the handling of the Myles King criminal matter.

The Proctor-related records are also becoming relevant in other litigation. Aidan "Turtleboy" Kearney is seeking many of the same documents in connection with his pending criminal case, meaning additional records involving Michael Proctor could continue to become public.

Supporting a political candidate is every citizen's right, and a yard sign does not suggest Greg Connor is responsible for Michael Proctor's conduct. It does, however, identify where the Proctor family has placed its support in the race for Norfolk County District Attorney while Michael Proctor remains the subject of ongoing public scrutiny and related litigation.

The Proctor family has now made its choice. Voters will have to decide whether they are comfortable with the family of the disgraced former lead investigator in the Karen Read case enthusiastically backing Greg Connor for Norfolk County District Attorney.

Whether Greg Connor welcomes that endorsement or not, it is now part of his campaign. Every voter can decide for themselves what that says about the future of accountability in Norfolk County. Would you trust a candidate being endorsed by the Proctors?

Robert Cosgrove has refused to hand over Michael Proctor's disturbing text messages to us because Proctor "didn't play an investigative role" in my case. But July 2023 text messages between Proctor and Bukhenik show the exact opposite. Proctor was actively looking for ways to have me charged, not because I committed a crime, but because I was writing about him, it annoyed and offended him, and he didn't like the fact that I was calling him corrupt.
