What a year it’s been since but rather poignantly I now know this was to be the last match my dad would ever see his bee-loved Bees play (watching at home on tv) A few days later he had a fall leading to a bleed on the brain and a stroke from which he never recovered @BrentfordFC

A Chelsea player reveals Henderson and Palmer had to be separated last night after a heated exchange.

RAPED. BEATEN. THREATENED WITH DEATH.
A 57-year-old British mother brutally attacked in Dewsbury by a convicted sex offender who SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ON THE STREETS.
Probation failures. A family destroyed. A life changed forever. I've heard her story. Now Britain needs to hear it.
WATCH THIS.
We are saddened to hear of the passing of D-Day veteran Roland James ‘Jim’ Churm, aged 102. 🌺 🕯️🇬🇧
Jim served as a Royal Navy medic during the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944, caring for sick and injured personnel aboard a landing craft supporting the assault on Sword Beach.
His dedication to others continued long after the war, through a career in nursing and physiotherapy, and his involvement in remembrance activities.
In 2025, Jim was awarded France’s Légion d’Honneur in recognition of his wartime service. For Jim, it was also an opportunity to remember those who never returned home.
Our thoughts are with Jim’s family, friends and all who knew him.
Thank you for your service, Jim. Rest in peace. 🌺🕊️

🚨BREAKING: Two of the men arrested and BAILED for the RAF Fairford Terrorism Plot have now been RE-ARRESTED
They are suspected of helping Iran's intelligence services
They should never have been bailed
Once more.
What is exposed here is just how appalling the disparity between the prison and hospital system is with serious offenders.
Not to be confused with early release prisoners.
Calocane is a patient.
He is in a hospital.
He therefore has automatic rights to apply via a tribunal.
There is a process.
These are held in private behind closed doors.
The most we would be allowed to do is offer a victim impact statement.
Hospitals treat.
Not detain.
80% of offenders in receipt of indefinite hospital orders for these most serious of crimes (and they are crimes) are out within 10 years.
Allegedly managed ‘closely’ and within the community.
And we know how well that works!
If denied then able to apply again.
12 months later.
Rinse repeat.
That’s how it works.
And that’s why, over my literal dead body, will that monster ever ever be free to walk our streets again.
I promise you that Barney. 💚💛

Two years ago today, Rhiannon Skye Whyte finished her shift and walked to the station to get home to her little boy. She never made it.
A man staying at the same hotel followed her onto the platform and stabbed her again and again with a screwdriver. Many of the wounds were to her head. She never woke up. Three days later she was gone.
She was 27. A mum. Just trying to get through her day and get back to her son.
Today marks two years since that night.
We remember her. We say her name. We don’t look away from what happened.
Rhiannon Skye Whyte.
We will never forget. 💔🙏
