@nedryun If it's REMOTELY like her moronic last line in the Superman film (I just watched yesterday) -- "Thanks, for watching him, BITCH", then good. The whole Superman movie was a COMPLETE letdown except for Nathan Fillions expressive hands that came jolting out of the ground.
Democrats have suffered psychotic meltdowns after Texas became the first state to mandate Bible reading for students in public schools.
But it's not the first time in American history that young people were exposed to God's Word.
When Thomas Jefferson served as president of the first Board of Trustees for the public schools in Washington, D.C., teachers used the Bible as well as hymns written by Isaac Watts as reading texts.
But the practice of teaching children religion predates the founding of the nation. For some 300 years children were taught Bible -- until the Supreme Court ruled in 1963 that no state law or school board could require Bible passages or the Lord’s Prayer to be read in public schools at the beginning of the day.
The Supreme Court expelled God and gave the keys to the schoolhouse to the Devil. And from that day on, all hell broke loose in our nation's public school system.
