I don't know for sure but I would guess the older a person is the harder it is on them (plus immucomprimized younger adults). Unfortunately, provincial health insurance only covers older adults.

@gloria_gif5964 @merry123459 Right, good point. Many provinces cover the cost of the shingles vaccine after a certain age (probably varies by province) so everyone should check their coverage and be sure to get the vaccine when they qualify if they can't afford it (which is what hubby and I did).
