@ayendomino@D_080325 She will have got money from the licensing rights to the uniforms, the house names etc. I’m not saying ‘everyone has to boycott SKZ’, but it would be good if people could be informed enough to move away from this transphobe both financially and influentially
@D_080325@Stray_Kids I am trans and I grew up with Harry Potter, I loved the series so much and reading it before bed every night used to be my favorite part of every day. However supporting and promoting hp is harmful to trans people, despite how you feel about jkr. Promotion of HP=Promotion of jkr
honestly of all the possible ideas choosing harry potter as a theme for new skz code is just embarrassing, disappointing and disgusting. skz whole brand is "stray kids everywhere all around the world" and if you wanna go with this inclusive concept, you cannot disclude trans +
Weirdly, I’m glad to see so much discussion about the new SKZ Codes, because it may reach the eyes and ears of those at JYPE and of Stray Kids themselves. If they realise how it doesn’t align with the group’s values, then hopefully we’ll not see this sort of thing again.
@Stray_Kids I love you but I'm really sad to see this 😭 unfortunately regardless of how hp may have helped you once, it is now a hate symbol towards the trans community. especially in the uk, the queer community is begging everyone to leave this and the evil bigot author in the past
@NikolaNikNik85@goodreads I’ve just re-read Curious Incident after eight years. Obvious to me now that Christopher is autistic and his parents couldn’t cope
