even if you don't believe in prison abolition, the question must be asked, what purpose do they serve? if it is to rehabilitate, they've proven remarkably bad at their jobs. if it is to punish, they still do a pretty lousy job at that.
@arisqueso They’re both characters in the same way with the same capacities for change. The difference is that Caine changes at the first understanding he has of what he does wrong whereas Jax gets a thousand opportunities to change for the better and chooses not to.
I love doing quiz this because for every northeasterner it's like "we've tracked down your home address" and for the rest of the country it's "you could be fucking anywhere. but probably this region"
@Undue_Risk I did too at first but there were things in the pilot that separated it, like the episode immediately slowing down to allow itself to be tonally jarring.
@DoinkAltium I thought this at first watch but it was a glaring issue for me. I’m glad I just misread it cause I think Caine trapping scratch alone in a world where he can’t do anything forever is probably bad
“I don’t like that Jax was never faced any consequences for her actions” she died. did we forget that she died. did we all miss the part where she was sobbing in terror because she knew she was going to die as a direct result of her own actions
Anyone saying pomni not checking on jax letting him abstract is occ need to stfu, genuinely.
She learned from the guns episode not to push too hard. her being human is not out of character. She's always given him space, this one time was just the one bad call on it
@gamershyyy I don’t care about her cause she’s a good person, I feel sympathy because she chose that life but she had every opportunity to be a better person. I’m rooting for her to get better and it’s tragic she gets as close as she does and chooses not to.
