The H-1B debate is being framed completely wrong.

This is not Americans versus Indians. It is workers versus a body shop system that allows abusive corporate middlemen to profit by pitting them against each other.

Fraudulent staffing and body shop companies can undercut American workers while keeping foreign workers dependent, underpaid and afraid to leave. Americans lose opportunities. H-1B workers lose bargaining power. The middlemen win twice.

PERM exposes how broken this system has become. In its early years, nearly half of applications were certified within 30 days and more than 75% within 60 days.

Today, the average is 372 days ,close to 400.

That is not merely bureaucratic inefficiency. When a worker’s immigration future remains tied to one employer for years, delay becomes corporate leverage. Sponsorship can become captivity.

Real reform should target the abusers , not legitimate skilled workers:

• Stop fraudulent body shops from monopolizing H-1B slots
• Enforce genuine market wages and transparency
• Make it easier for workers to change employers
• Accelerate PERM processing
• Permanently bar repeat corporate abusers from the visa system

You can support high-skilled immigration while insisting that American workers must never be undercut. There is no contradiction.

Indians are not the scam. American workers are not xenophobic for demanding fairness.

The scam is an exploitative business model that keeps foreign workers captive and Americans shut out ,while corporations collect the profits.

Protect American opportunity.
Free foreign workers.
Punish the companies that exploit both.
