When one of your team texts you on a Sunday night to tell you #callthemidwife is raising awareness of importance of childhood Immunisation uptake - couldn’t ask for more
I’ve had 2 #nhsscreening invites this week - feel v lucky that I have - one #nhsbreastscreening and the other #nhsbowelscreening . I’m at that age. My 1st breast screen at 50 (12 yrs ago) led to a lumpectomy. My 2nd a mastectomy. I’m still here!!
@BreastCancerNow my daughter has just completed her first marathon for BCN - nearly finished me off to be honest with WiFi breakdown - last post being”i can’t breathe”. But all done https://t.co/MDde5qHjnE I’m such a proud mum - and “bag carrier “!

@RUHBath@macmillancancer - 8 years after my DCIS breast cancer diagnosis and having a mastectomy, moving house miles away from Kent, I can only thank you so much for looking after me recently waiting to sort the fact my body has rejected my implant #macmillannursespecialist 🙏
Four weeks retired from #nhs- oh my goodness I seem to have been in the NHS system ever since - cough/antibioticsx2/mastectomy implant rejection/something in my foot - so well looked after - waiting for an op happening in only 3 weeks. Totally discombobulated #retirement#phew
Last 5k before my 61st Thursday - can still do just slower - this time listening to @HamiltonMusical music tracks reflecting 48 hours to #retirement from the #nhs 42 years since started my nursing degree at what was Chelsea College (now @KCLalumni) and @StGeorgesTrust - #proud
