I agree,the deaths of 3 babies is VERY heartbreaking.Please keep in mind-Postpartum psychiatric illness can affect any family,even if no family history! It could be your Wife,daughter, cousin,
sister or even a friend. How would you react to this case then? #LindsayClancyCase.

Did this juror misunderstand what an NGI verdict actually means? Did they believe Lindsay Clancy would simply go free? Or did this juror enter that courtroom on Day 1 already determined to vote guilty? I wonder.

What became painfully clear throughout the testimony in the Lindsay Clancy trial, were the serious questions surrounding the psychiatric care Lindsay received. Doctors who were responsible for evaluating, diagnosing & treating PPD.

The Lindsay Clancy trial ended in a MISTRIAL — 11–1 for NGI, Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. ELEVEN jurors reached NGI.
One did not.

According to the note sent to the judge by the foreperson, one juror “refused” to follow the jury instructions.

This is surprising. You would think he of all people would understand the need for proper mental healthcare assessment, proper diagnosis from go, patient monitoring to ensure treatments are effective and there is no decline and of course awareness. Including severe postpartum risks for PPD & PPP. I’m shocked.
