The British people are compassionate. We will always support those who are genuinely homeless. But we cannot allow our streets to be taken over by rows of tents occupied by people, many of them from abroad, living on the streets as a lifestyle choice. 1/4
Wow, just when you think the Tories have stooped as low as they could possibly go, they pull this one out of the bag. Interesting that this is being proposed after making thousands of asylum seekers homeless.
It is not a lifestyle choice!

My wonderful friend Rach is crowdfunding for a new wheelchair. She lives with chronic pain and disability, and this would give her so much more independence and control over her life. https://t.co/gQDuX66lGA
It's World Sauntering Day today! Why not use this as a good excuse to leave the screen, have a break from work or assignment writing and take a mindful lunchtime stroll? #selfcare#socialwork https://t.co/u1ShvJMQ97
@harvenetta74 Oh bless him, it has such an impact on their self esteem. There's so much pressure to be organised and neat, but little understanding of why that might be difficult for some children. I'm glad he got his diagnosis and hope he is in a more nurturing environment now x
Top parent points to hubby today for designing his own pen licence certificate for our youngest who, realistically, will probably never have neat enough handwriting to be awarded one from school. #dyspraxia
@helfrank What??? I'm really sorry he had to experience that. There's no excuse for teachers to be so ignorant of neurodiversity and disability now. If only they tried writing using that typical dyspraxic grip, they could see how hard it is just to form the legible letters! #dyspraxia
@LCarter0212 I agree completely. There's so much value placed on forming letters in the way school says it has to be done. My handwriting was awful until I was an adult and I worked out my own way!
